Michelle Renee Johnson, 50 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Kaiser Modesto Medical with her friends and family by her side .

Michelle was born in Modesto, CA on April 17, 1975 to Melvin and Sherry Johnson. She met her husband, Luis Marquez, in 1992 and they were blessed with a son, Christian, in 1999.

She enjoyed raising her animals, camping, riding quads, music, dancing and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed life to the fullest.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Luis; son, Christian; mother, Sherry; brother, Melvin (Chrissy); dogs, Gunner and Luna and many nieces, nephews, cousins and an aunt.

Michelle will be remembered for her love of animals, humor, generosity, enthusiastic energy and outgoing personality. She was extremely compassionate and treated everyone like family. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
