Raymond Edward Krassel, 91 of Gustine passed away on August 30, 2025.

Raymond was born in Chicago, IL to Charles and Agnes Krassel. He was a Korean War Veteran and was a specialist in the Army, he was an auto mechanic for several decades and also worked for Brinks and repaired their trucks. While living in Illinois, Raymond really enjoyed being in the American Legion, he was involved in V.F.W. for many years and was a district commander and continued his involvement in both the American Legion and V.F.W. when he moved to California. 

He also enjoyed going to the casino, playing the lottery, playing dominoes and cards, working on cars, tinkering with stuff and spending time with his family.

Raymond is survived by his son, Raymond (Robin) Krassel and granddaughter, Rachel Krassel. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Agnes Krassel; brothers, Alvin Krassel and Charlie Krassel and sister, Elvira Krassel.

A Graveside service will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, CA.
