Submitted by Isabell Hayes Newman 4-H Reporter Newman 4 H members Brian Casey (pictured) and Olivia Casey participated in the Stanislaus County Creed competition at the County Ag Center, where Brian earned a certificate and pin as a Primary member and Olivia received a gold medal and was named County Winner. In a separate event, Newman 4 H member Julian Leon (pictured) competed at the KCRBA show in Bakersfield with his American Cavies, earning four first place and two second place class wins, along with three Best of Variety awards, one Best of Breed and a Reserve in Show. Leon also placed third in cavy showmanship and is now preparing for the California State Rabbit and Cavy Convention at the Fresno Fairgrounds.
