A blast of neon lights, 80s nostalgia and high‑energy bingo is headed to Gustine later this month as Our Lady of Miracles School prepares for its first‑ever “Neon 80s Bingo Rave Night” — an adults‑only fundraiser organizers say is designed to double as a community‑building party.
Mrs. Maria Pacheco, M.Ed., said the Feb. 28 event aims to break the mold of traditional school fundraisers by blending classic bingo with music, lights, prizes and a rave‑inspired atmosphere, all in support of students and school programs.
Hosted by the Our Lady of Miracles Parent Club, the event runs from 7 to 11 p.m. at GPS Hall, 500 3rd Avenue in Gustine. Guests 21 and older can expect Bingo rounds, raffles, dancing, hors d’oeuvres and a hosted bar — all wrapped in a glowing 80s theme.
Pacheco said the concept grew from a desire to create something fresh, inclusive and genuinely fun. “We wanted to create an event that blended the familiarity of Bingo with a bold, exciting twist,” she said.
Organizers leaned into the Neon 80s theme to build an atmosphere that feels both nostalgic and energetic. “When guests arrive, they’ll be greeted by glowing neon décor, 80s‑inspired music, and a high‑energy atmosphere that feels more like a party than a quiet game night,” Pacheco said.
DJ Dan will lead the entertainment, keeping the music and momentum going between rounds. Each attendee receives Bingo cards and a dobber, and every Bingo win earns a grand prize raffle ticket that players can place toward the prize of their choice. Additional cards and separate raffles — including one for a fully stocked bar cart — will also be available.
Pacheco said the event is designed to support the school while strengthening community ties. “Events like Bingo Rave Night allow families and community members to enjoy a great evening together while directly supporting the mission and future of our school,” she said.
Tickets are $60 and are being sold through school families and Parent Club supporters. Organizers encourage early purchase due to limited space.
