Clam Chowder Fundraiser Set for March 27
The Knights of Columbus OLM Council #11653 will host a clam chowder bread bowl fundraiser from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, March 27 at OLM Parish Center #2, located at 564 Linden Ave. in Gustine. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at Pioneer Drug in Gustine. Only 250 tickets will be sold for the event.
Newman 4‑H to Host Linguica Take‑Out Dinner March 23
The Newman 4‑H Club will hold its annual Linguica Take‑Out Dinner on March 23, with meal pickup available from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Sherman Park picnic area.
The dinner includes a linguica sandwich, chips, a cookie and a bottle of water. Tickets may be purchased from any Newman 4‑H member.

Bravo View Farms seeking vendors for March 28 Easter pop‑up
Bravo View Farms, a local almond orchard ranch known for its foothill views and mix of livestock including beef cattle, goats, a Highland bull and mini donkeys, is seeking vendors for its upcoming Easter pop‑up event.
The event is scheduled for March 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The ranch has been hosting community events to help raise awareness about the importance of agriculture in the region.

Registration opens for Newman Warriors youth football and cheer
Registration is now open for the 2026 season of the Newman Warriors Youth Football and Cheer Organization. The group announced that in‑person sign‑ups will be held March 21 and March 28, with the location to be announced.
Families may also register online at any time through the SportsPlus app.
Organizers said they are looking forward to welcoming athletes back to the field and sidelines for another season.
Gustine tennis matches to close Harry Schmidt Park courts on select dates
The Harry Schmidt Park tennis courts will be closed on several dates in March and April while the Gustine High School Tennis Club hosts home matches, the city announced.
The courts will be reserved from 3 to 8 p.m. on March 19 and April 2 under the shared‑use agreement between the City of Gustine and the Gustine Unified School District.
Outside of those dates, the Linden Avenue courts remain first‑come, first‑served with a 1.5‑hour time limit. Clubs or organizations seeking exclusive use must complete required contract paperwork and pay applicable fees.

Gustine Lions Club seeking vendors for annual Easter Egg Hunt
The Gustine Lions Club and Miss Gustine Court are seeking food and merchandise vendors for the annual Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for April 4 at the Schmidt Park baseball fields.
Vendor booths will operate from 9:30 a.m. to noon, with the egg hunt beginning at 10 a.m. sharp. The vendor fee is $50, which includes the required business license.
Vendors may register online at www.cityofgustine.com by selecting Recreation Registration and then Special Events.
The event will feature eggs, prizes and an appearance by the Easter Bunny.
