Newman Police
The Newman Police Department received 90 calls for service and reported 110 officer-initiated calls for a total of 200 incidents from Jan. 26 to Feb. 1.
There were 20 cases opened and 10 arrests were made. The department issued 26 traffic citations, two criminal citations, five parking citations and one animal citation. Three vehicles were towed.
Arrests
Arsenio Lopez, 39, of Turlock was arrested on Jan. 26 for a warrant and driving on a license suspended for DUI.
Felipe Armenta, 36, of Patterson was arrested on Jan. 27 for a violation of a court order, making terrorist threats and vandalism.
A 15-year-old Newman boy was arrested on Jan. 27 for evading a peace officer and obstructing or resisting a peace officer.
Viviana Sotelo, 27, of Newman was arrested on Jan. 29 for disorderly conduct.
Holly Davis, 40, of Newman was arrested on Jan. 30 for child abuse, causing harm to an elderly and/or dependent adult.
Manuel Plascenia, 45, of Patterson was arrested on Jan. 30 for evading a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests
Luis Gerardo Quintero Ramirez, 20 was arrested at 11:56 p.m. Jan. 26 in the 400 block of 5th Street for false imprisonment, vandalism, destroying/damaging a wireless communication device and aggravated corporal injury.
Joseph Alan Camboia Matteri, 22, was arrested a 11:58 p.m. on Jan. 26 in the 400 block of 5th Street for obstructing or resisting a peace officer and disorderly conduct.
Carlos Omar Rodriguez, 35, was arrested at 11:52 a.m. on Jan. 29 in the 300 block of 5th Street for battery.
Janet Lynn Todd, 55, was arrested at 4:51 p.m. on Feb. 2 in the 100 block of 2nd Street for battery.
