Kathleen “Kathy” Carol Vogel (Wareham) of Modesto, California, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026. She was born in Santa Clara, California on February 14, 1947. She worked as a bookkeeper and volunteered in many organizations. She enjoyed playing Bunco and card games with her friends and making arts and crafts. She lived in San Jose for over 30 years and then retired to Newman, California where she was incredibly involved in the Newman Garden Club. She is survived by her daughter Kristine Weeks (Robert) and grandson Zackery, and sons Bryan Vogel and Greg Vogel. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, George Philip Vogel. The family will have a private service to scatter her ashes at a later date. We ask that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
