Orestimba Baseball

Reds baseball team had an away non-conference loss against the Merced Bears on Wednesday. Falling to the bears 12-4, scoring in the 3rd and 4th innings. But the Reds were able to redeem themselves against Stone Ridge Christian, 1-11, on Friday. The Reds travel away all week, for an away game vs Dos Palos, at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Then the Reds will move to Hilmar, starting their matchup at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lastly, the Reds travel away again, for a matchup against Summerville at 3:30 p.m. The Reds move to 1-3 for the season.

Gustine Softball

Reds headed into Ceres Costa Fields tournament this week. Their first match ended in a tie against Chavez Titans, 5-5, on Thursday. Then advancing, Pacheco would be no match for the Reds as they won 16-5 on Thursday. The Reds final game of the tournament was cancelled versus Hughson Huskies and will resume on March 30. This week, the Reds move to 2-1-1 for the season. The Reds will have a home matchup against Hilmar high school, at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Shortly after, the Reds will have a matchup vs Hughson Huskies, at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Orestimba Tennis

Orestimba Tennis traveled to Delhi Feb. 29 for their first league match of the season. The Warriors shut out the Hawks with a 9-0 team finish. The individual match scores follow.

Gustine Tennis

Gustine Tennis started their 2024 season with a home league opener against Ripon Christian on February 29. The Reds were down 0-8 when the competition was called due to rain during the Mixed Doubles match. That play may resume when the two teams meet again at the end of the month.
