Maria Nadia Soares, 85 of Gustine passed away Saturday, January 6th, 2024 in Los Banos. 

Mrs. Soares was born in St. Jorge, Azores, to parents Miguel and Helen Gois. She was a long-time resident of Gustine for 50 years and was a member of the Westside Christian Center. 

Mrs. Soares is survived by her husband, Manuel Soares, her sons, Manuel Soares of Newman, and George Soares of Gustine; brothers, Miguel Gois of Newman, Steve Gois of Gustine, Raul Gois of Turlock, Mario Gois of Newman, and Duarte Gois of Gustine; 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 Great-great grandchild. 

A Visitation will be held from 8:30 to 10:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 am, Thursday, January 18th, at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Gustine. Interment to follow at Hills Ferry Cemetery in Newman.
