On Feb. 6, John C. Fremont Parlor of the Native Sons of the Golden West presented to Daniel Gomes (right) his 50 year membership pin and card. Presentation was made by Raulin Mendonca, Parlor Officer. The Native Sons of the Golden West has a mission of preserving California's history and was founded in 1875 by California-born men. New members no longer have to be born in California, just U.S. citizens.
