Students at Gustine High School showed off their school spirit on Thursday, Sept. 12, with their annual homecoming parade in downtown Gustine. Every year the parade brings together alumni, students, and community members to celebrate the football team's homecoming game. This year's theme was "Reds Home for the Holidays.” The freshman theme was Valentine's Day; Sophomores were Thanksgiving; juniors were Halloween; and seniors were Christmas. After the parade, everyone got together in the middle of downtown Gustine to watch each class perform a skit, band, cheer performance, and senior speeches. Each class gets to compete in a skit and float competition that is announced at the night's end. This year's winners for floats were: 1st place – Juniors; 2nd place – Seniors; 3rd place – Sophomores; and 4th place – Freshmen.
