TURLOCK — The Stanislaus County Fair is in full swing after opening Friday, drawing steady crowds who have packed the midway, concert lawn and livestock barns during the event’s first several days.
Fair officials said attendance has been strong as visitors take in carnival rides, fair food, livestock shows, home arts exhibits and nightly concerts. While opening weekend featured Clint Black, truck and tractor pulls, the Portuguese Bloodless Bullfights and two nights of destruction derby action, much of the fair’s biggest entertainment is still ahead as of Wednesday, July 15.
Wednesday night brings Monster Madness: Arena Thunder at 5:30 p.m., kicking off two nights of monster truck shows. On Thursday, fans can return for Monster Trucks: Steel Stampede, another high‑energy arena event.
Western sports take over Friday when the PRCA Rodeo begins at 5:30 p.m., followed Saturday by high‑speed motocross racing. The fair closes Sunday, July 19, with the Humpz ’N Hornz Hispanic Rodeo, a popular finale celebrating Hispanic rodeo traditions.
Concerts continue nightly at 8:30 p.m. on the Modelo Variety Free Stage as part of the Black Oak Casino Resort Concert Series. Upcoming acts include Common Kings, Diamond Rio, Ashanti, Ying Yang Twins, Mayday Parade, Banda Carnaval and themed shows such as Twist on Taylor, a Taylor Swift tribute. Concerts are free with admission, though visitors can purchase a $25 VIP Crowd Experience for closer viewing.
Throughout the grounds, families can explore the Kids Zone, visit agricultural exhibits, watch 4‑H and FFA competitions, and enjoy strolling entertainers and hands‑on activities. Fair food favorites — from turkey legs and corn dogs to funnel cakes and lemonade — continue to be major draws.
The 2026 Stanislaus County Fair runs through July 19, offering ten days of entertainment, agriculture and community celebration for visitors across the Central Valley.
