Maria Anaya de Oseguera, 95 of Newman passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at her residence in Newman.

Maria was born in Michoacan, Mexico and was a long time resident of Newman. She enjoyed dancing, wearing perfume, jewelry and makeup.

Maria is survived by her children, Rosa, Leticia, Hilda, Lucila, Silvia, Irma, Armando, Carmela, Miguel and Erica. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Adelina and her son, Carlos.

A Visitation will be held at 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with a Rosary starting at 6:00 pm, Thursday, February, 6th, at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church in Newman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, February, 7th at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Hills Ferry Cemetery in Newman
