Feb. 1 marked the Grand Opening of Family Dollar, Dollar Tree in Gustine. Gustine City Council members, city officials, employees and community members, met with interim Store Manager Maria Iniguez (center) holding golden scissors, to cut the ribbon, marking the official embarkment of the store. Soon, Geral Soto (left), holding small scissors, Merced County local, will take over the store as the permanent manager. Soto, who has 15-years of experience with the company, mentioned that he prepared to serve the community and that it will be a process in getting acclimated. The store is always open to hiring local employees and is open to reviewing applications.
