Edgar Sanchez Juarez, 26 of Gustine passed away on January 1, 2025 after years of battling cancer.

Edgar graduated from Gustine High School in 2016. He joined the Marines and later married his high school sweetheart, Destiny Sandoval. They had two sons, Edgar, Jr. and Emir. Edgar enjoyed working out, reading, dancing, music, playing poker and doing fireworks. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality, sarcasm, laugh, jokes, and ability to easily engage in conversation with others. After being diagnosed with cancer, he was limited to the activities he could participate in so he prioritized spending time with his family and friends.

Edgar was a family man and is survived by his wife, Destiny Sanches; sons, Edgar Jr. Sanchez and Emir Sanchez; parents, Adalid Sanchez and Irene Juarez.

A Visitation will be held at 9:00 am – 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am, Monday, January, 13 at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Gustine.
