Armando Osegueda has been sentenced to 125 years to life in state prison for the 2012 murders of David Siebels, Edward Reinig and Alyxandra Tellez, Stanislaus County District Attorney Jeff Laugero announced this week.

Osegueda previously entered no‑contest pleas to three counts of first‑degree murder, attempted home invasion and allegations of personally using a firearm causing death.

Prosecutors said Osegueda and codefendant Joseph Jauriqui entered the victims’ Modesto home on March 3, 2012, under orders from Norteno gang shot‑caller Richard Garcia, who directed that everyone inside be killed. The victims were murdered as they slept or had just awakened. Jauriqui was sentenced earlier to 100 years to life, and Garcia received a death sentence in January 2025.

The case was the result of a multi‑agency investigation involving the Modesto Police Department, Ceres Police Department and the Central Valley Gang Interdiction Task Force.

Deputy District Attorneys Thane Nored and Larissa Jones prosecuted the case.
