Gustine Softball

The Gustine Reds fall to 2-4-1 for the season after tough losses on the road. 

The Reds head into their first week of league SAL league games. On Monday, the Reds fell against Mountain House (8-1 overall record). This week, the Reds will travel to Le Grand at 4 p.m. on Tuesday. Then the Reds will host Ripon Christian, beginning at 4 p.m. on Thursday.  Both matchups are against SAL league opponents.

Orestimba Tennis

OHS Tennis earned three wins last week on the road. One match was non-league, bringing the Warriors overall stats to 6-0 and 4-0 in league.

Last week kicked off with a 9-0 team victory against Turlock Christian on March 11. Individual scores for that match as followed:

The Warriors met the Cougars March 13 for a non-league competition in Escalon. Despite the high winds that made for challenging play on the tennis courts, Orestimba took home the win with an 8-1 team score. Individual scores follow.

The Warriors were scheduled to host Gustine March 18, Ripon Christian on Thursday and Delhi on Monday. The games start at the Orestimba Tennis courts at 3:30 p.m.

Gustine Tennis challenged Delhi during league play last week with a near win in singles and two wins in doubles play. Overall, the Hawks prevailed and the Reds went home with a 2-7 team finish. The individual scores for the March 11 match follow.

The Reds hosted Turlock Christian March 14. Gustine was competitive on the courts as revealed in the individual scores below, but Turlock Christian ended on the winning side with a 9-0 team win.
